Community Impact in Action

SDGs

A partnership intended to create a vibrant regional society through mutual collaboration in the fields of industry, academia, community development, education, and culture to ensure a prosperous future for the local region

A total of 11 workshops were held in Yabu City in Hyogo Prefecture to create a new foundation for the local development of digital education. Three of these workshops were held in cooperation with Yabu’s elementary schools as special classes for elementary school students. This has led to a collaboration agreement being signed with Yabu on a policy to promote connections with the local educational system and to further increase the number of elementary schools introducing such special classes from 2025 onward. A science event was also held for all residents, where many came to learn about this project and get a hands-on experience using a 3D printer and other technologies. Through such activities held throughout the year, the number of participants increased as well as the number of cooperating organizations, making a significant contribution to laying the groundwork for the formation of a collaborative educational environment within the community.
