Research and development on regional revitalization with Tottori Prefecture Daisen Town

In collaboration with the town of Daisen in Tottori Prefecture and the Keio SFC Research Institute, the research group under Professor Masatoshi Tamamura from the Faculty of Policy Management has been conducting R&D on regional revitalization in Daisen. Continuing from AY 2019, graduate students and senior researchers from the SFC Research Institute have been conducting research in-residence in Daisen. They have been engaged in advancing R&D, which includes developing a “weekend resident model” that serves to build relationships with future professionals in depopulated areas.
