Community Impact in Action

SDGs

Collaborative projects with Fukui Prefecture Sabae City

Based on an industry-government-academia agreement concluded between Sabae City, the Sabae Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Keio University Graduate School of Media Design, this initiative has been promoting activities that offer solutions to local industry in an effort to further GX and decarbonization management practices. In order to gain a practical understanding of the current state of Japan’s national strategy to become carbon neutral by 2050, action was taken to better grasp the impact of recent major changes taking place globally. Specifically, seminars and workshops expanded their scope to include Fukui Prefecture, and individual companies were provided information and advice on ethical management. Companies could also volunteer to have their carbon footprints calculated.
