Using electricity data for Nobeoka City in Miyazaki Prefecture provided by the Secured Meter Data Sharing Association, this project created a map where users can visualize electricity supply and demand at the city block level. Through this project there were also interviews conducted with the Nobeoka City Decarbonization Policy Office to learn about how the map can be used and what value it offers. In addition, interviews were conducted to understand the current status and challenges in using the “Nobeoka City Decarbonization App,” a smartphone application developed by the city, discussing how data can be linked to solve these challenges and behavioral change of residents toward decarbonized lifestyles.

detailsThe Regional ICT Platform Lab in Keio University Research Institute at SFC was established in 2020 for the purpose of community-led renovation of critical infrastructures, inviting INTEC, which has a good awareness about ICT infrastructure development. Disasters become more frequent towards 2030s'. The relief supply and private Digital Exchange Working Group at the lab is considering how the logistics infrastructure used by the private sector for procurement during normal times convert public infrastructure for providing disaster relief supplies. The research activities for new Digital Exchange highlighting daily necessities are ongoing. In 2023, Nobeoka City launched the Disaster Logistics Support DX Conference addressing disaster DX design research. We are promoting the research in collaboration with local and national companies, based on the results of academic research in 2022.
