Collaborative projects with the City of Yokohama Kohoku Ward.
1) An "Online Exercise Program" was conducted for elementary school children in which they could participate from their own homes, to enjoy sports and improve their abilities. In the program, we provided guidance through three times video analysis of the participants' movements and conducted questionnaires to evaluate the improvement of their motor skills as well as to eliminate the lack of exercise in the COVID-19. In addition, a web application that facilitates participants to input and review their daily sleep time and physical condition was also used to improve the disorder of their daily rhythm.
2) The "Online Radio Gymnastics" program was conducted mainly for elementary school students in Kohoku Ward during summer holidays. The 20-minute online program consisted of radio gymnastics, quizzes, and original exercises, and was distributed 10 days with the aim of utilizing ICT for regional exchange and revitalization. We also invited local guests on a daily basis, and created a plan where participants could collect the hiragana that were announced each time and apply for a present, in order to encourage continued participation. In addiontion, with the cooperation of the Keio Sports SDGs Project members, time was set aside each time to learn about the relationship between sports and the SDGs. As a result, compared to outdoor radio gymnastics, parents can participate with their children more easily, which is a unique feature of online gymnastics, and the number of participants has grown to over 500 each time.
