The SFC Research Institute and the following local governments have signed a cooperation agreement in order to tackle regional revitalization and various issues by utilizing drones and to promote education and research for regional promotion.
Jinsekikogen Town, Hiroshima Prefecture (August 2017)
Based on the experience of the heavy rain disaster in July 2018, Jinsekikogen Town established a drone consortium for disaster prevention and mitigation in October 2019. The SFC Research Institute Drone Society Co-creation Consortium supported the establishment of the Jinsekikogen Town Drone Consortium, and in FY2020, conducted research on the establishment of an initial response system in the event of a disaster in collaboration with the Disaster Prevention Science Research Institute. We collected information necessary for the initial response in the event of a disaster and conducted a material transportation experiment, which contributed to the development of local leaders.
