Collaboration project to promote regional revitalization with Saitama Prefecture Hanno City.

With the cooperation of the Association of Hanno Town Revitalization and the Faculty of Media and Information Resources at Surugadai University, a card game developed in the previous academic year to simulate regional revitalization called “Local Idea Creation Game - Saitama Hanno City Edition” was utilized in four sessions at three locations - Hanno University (an NPO), Tokyo University of Agriculture, and Surugadai University ― involving a total of 69 participants. The results of the simulated experience, where a rise in affection levels towards the countryside was verified among the participants, were reported at The Japan Association of Regional Development and Vitalization Research Conference. Subsequently, at the request of the Hanno City Board of Education, the program was also implemented in four elementary and junior high schools, and the data is currently being analyzed.
