A disaster well system using groundwater has been installed on Shinanomachi Campus because there is a possibility that the tap water supply at the Keio University Hospital may become unavailable in the event of a disaster. By duplicating the water source, water supply is secured in the event of an emergency. Up to 10 tons is used daily as water for miscellaneous use (for air conditioning).
