Shizuoka Prefecture "advanced agriculture project"

From our base in Shizuoka Prefecture AOI-PARC, we are advancing research and development in agriculture-related fields utilizing ICT and advanced technology, while utilizing next-generation cultivation systems to facilitate the safe and secure, low-cost, and high-performance development of new strains of agricultural products and investigating efficient production methods. We are meanwhile promoting scientific verification to establish evidence regarding the functionality of agricultural product-derived ingredients toward the development of high-performance foods, aiming for health and longevity.
The research outcome presentations for the project in the 2020 academic year took place on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 13:15 to 16:50, via venue-based lectures (Plaza Verde, Numazu City) and live streams, with reports including those on “Development and Implementation of Precision Data Collection Technologies in Data-driven Agriculture”; “Acquisition of Functional Displays for Mikkabi Mikans and the Future”; and “AOI-PARC Personnel Development Initiatives.”
