Advanced health industry accumulation project at the foot of Mount Fuji (Shizuoka Pharma Valley Project)

A meeting to exchange opinions on the Pharma Valley project was held on December 17, 2019, and Keio University was represented as a partner institution by Professor Koji Miura of the School of Medicine Clinical and Translational Research Center and Professor Yuko Takeda, dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care. The meeting began with an explanation of the current status of the project by Ken Yamaguchi, the president of the Shizuoka Cancer Center, and Professor Miura gave advice on reinforcing regional strengths to support health and longevity. Subsequently, opinions were exchanged on future projects.
