Collaboration projects on town development with Yamanashi Prefecture and Fujiyoshida City

Yamanashi Prefecture, Fujiyoshida City, and Keio University concluded an agreement for the purpose of collaboration and cooperation in 2007, and by reviewing revitalization plans that make use of the local resources of Fujiyoshida City as well as those such as the world cultural heritage, history, and culture of Mount Fuji, nature, water, food, and agricultural products, as well as by continuously carrying out research on various practical models for solving regional issues, practical activities rooted in the region are being developed. In AY 2020, collaborations were formed for a "survey research on regional revitalization and promoting the attractions of Fujiyoshida City" and "survey research on the design of an attractive city for Fujiyoshida City." As part of these activities, students at SFC carried out fieldwork and promoted research study.
