On September 28, 2019, the first collaborative course between Fujiyoshida City and Keio University for the students of 4 local senior high schools was held under the theme of "Mount Fuji and the Japanese people." With Mount Fuji, which is universally recognized as the symbol of Japan, at the center, it was an opportunity to learn about what mountains and Mount Fuji mean to the Japanese people as well as to think about identities among our hometowns, Japan, and ourselves. Lecturer: Professor Emeritus Hitoshi Miyake.
This course was postponed in the 2020 academic year due to COVID-19.
