Collaboration with Saitama Prefecture Shiraoka City that aims to contribute to the formation and development of local communities and human resources development.

On February 2, 2020, an achievement presentation for the Shiraoka genki project was held. Since 2017, the research group of Professor Yoshinori Isagai of the Faculty of Policy Management has been working with Saitama Prefecture Shiraoka City to revitalize the Oyama and Seiga areas of the city where the population is declining. Students sold local vegetables in carts and brought excitement to local festivals and exchange events involving different generations. Shiraoka City praised the project for the change it brought in local awareness, including the active use of local resources by the residents.
